Create a button

Buttons are specially formatted links. They look like this:

This example is in the Glossy theme.

Buttons can be added any where text is allowed of public site pages. Different button formatting is used fo different themes.

Buttons can be used in the following themes:

  • Glossy
  • Sensation 

 


Create a button in Glossy

Go to the page or block where you want to add the button, and click the edit tab.

1. Type your button text: Type the words you want you button to say.

 2. Create link: Highlight your button text, and click the link icon in the text editor. It looks like a small chainlink.

Enter in your link information. The protocol "other" is used for links that link to other pages on your site.

3. In advanced add class button_link:  Click on the advanced tab.

In the field labeled "stylesheet classes", type in  "button_link". See the photo above as an example.

Click okay to create the button.

It won't look like a button on the edit view, but once you save the page/block and view it, you will see the button.

 

 


Create a button in Sensation

Go to the page or block where you want to add the button, and click the edit tab.

1. Add your text for the button in the body text area of the page/block. Place the text where you want the button to appear.
2. Highlight and add a link like normal (using the "link" icon in text editor)
3. Click the advanced tab and add into the stylesheet classes field:

button gray - for a  small dark grey button
button light - for a small light grey button
button green - for a small button in the current theme colour

button gray medium - for a  medium-sized dark grey button
button light medium - for a medium-sized light grey button
button green medium - for a medium-sized button in the current theme colour

button gray large - for a large dark grey button
button light large - for a large light grey button
button green large - for a large button in the current theme colour

* green is always used in the style code, regardless of them theme colour. The button will appear in your theme's set colours.

Press okay to save and create the button.
