The public site controls page

I've chosen my theme, now what?

Flush the cache to make sure everything is up to date. This helps rebuild the menus so you see all the items that you should.

Public site controls

The public site controls page (found in the public site area) can be used to:

  • change your theme
  • put your site "under construction"
  • "force a refresh" of the blocks

Putting your site under construction hides the public site while you're working on it. However, your "go to public site link" will not work when this is enabled - this is to hide your public site from your members. To access your public site, go to the base url for your site (example: http://yourchorus.groupanizer.com    instead of http://yourchorus.groupanizer.com/g/dashboard). If this does not work, you'll need to change the default front page to the base url on this page:   .../admin/config/system/site-information

Blocks are used to display various types of content throughout your site - forcing a refresh places the blocks into the default areas based on the theme you've chosen. You may want to do this, or, you may want to arrange them yourself instead. (More info below).
